It's Friday!

A few favorites on this beautiful Friday...

{---} On Saturday James turned one month old. I have no idea how this happened. Poor third child doesn't get a full one month post. Just a bullet. Little man is now 9lb1oz and 21.5in long (up from 7lb3oz and 19.5in at birth). He's a beautiful, happy baby. Sadly, he isn't as fond of sleeping as I am. He contentedly sits in my arms looking at lights and turning towards voices and other sounds. Put him down though and you see a new side of Baby J! He does NOT like to be alone. It's a good thing he has two older brothers to keep him company.

So, both of the above pictures were on Instagram. This one is just for the bog though. I redid the one month picture of James so he is in the red striped shirt to coordinate with his big brothers.

{---} While I had the good camera out on Saturday, I took the opportunity to take our first three baby picture. Swoon.

{---} On Monday night Casey had a work dinner he needed to attend. And it went late a lot later than he told me it would go. I survived my first solo dinner as a mama of three. AND I survived my first solo bedtime as a mama of three. There may have been tears. But, basically I rock.

{---} Continuing on the "I rock" train, this morning I got two eighteen month olds, a one month old, and myself up, dressed, fed, and to a meeting at 9AM. And I am now spending the remainder of the day feeling ridiculously accomplished!

{---} Confession: we are going to tour an in home preschool this afternoon to hopefully enroll the boys in this year. I'm really nervous! What if the boys don't like it? What if the director doesn't like us? What I'd? Yeah. I need to work on not letting my head go to that place!

{---} My 9AM meeting this morning was a planning/work day for my MOPS group. MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers and is an amazing community of real moms who meet every other week to eat a yummy childfree breakfast, fellowship together, share in our mommy realities, and pray for each other. If you are in Dallas - join us! If you aren't in Dallas, MOPS groups meet all over the country and I really encourage you to find a group near you! My soul needs and craves the time with these amazing Christian moms.

Be sure to link up this Friday. I'm linking up with A Little Bit of Everything, Grace and Love, and Momfessionals for Friday Favorites as well as with September Farm and The Farmer's Wife for oh hey Friday!
