I'm sure everyone has a staple vegetable that you eat WAY too much of (or is that just us?) We eat A LOT of canned green beans. When I haven't been to the grocery store in a while it is always my go to. Well tonight I'm feeling green beaned out and so I dug way back in my pantry and found canned corn. Exciting. Except I'm not sure what to do with it. I normally make a corn souffle or a corn casserole or creamed corn. Tonight, not so much. When I heat a can of plain green beans I know just what spices to throw in to make them taste special. With corn, I don't have a clue. I turned to trusty friends Google and Tastebook and neither of them had an "add sugar and spice and all things nice" to make your canned corn taste great. Apparently we're eating plain old canned corn tonight!
