Weigh in Wednesday

Again with the no progress. I am eating right. Foregoing Buttermilk Pie (yeah I made Buttermilk Pie for a dinner party and managed to only eat a few bites). Eating lots of fruits. Drinking TONS of water. Walking an hour every day. Been to the gym four times this week. And again - I lose nothing.

  1. The first four to six weeks are the hardest so hang in there. Once you make it past these the pounds will start shedding!

  2. Ugh! I know how frustrating that is! We've been doing Weight Watchers since March and while The Mr has lost all of his weight (like 50 lbs!) I am still working on it. Ugh! ;-)

  3. Do not fret! Drink water water and more water!

I know when I need to quickly lose a few pounds [read: my wedding] I consume more olive oil and less carbs. It can usually result in a pound or two gone in a few days...

  4. Whatever you do, don't get discouraged. I am right there with you. I will be up a pound this week, down two the next... and so on. It's a constant struggle! But you will see progess if you keep it up. :)

  5. Hang in there! It'll come off...drink TONS of water! They say half of your body weight in ounces of 64 oz, whichever is more.

  7. I am right there with you! But you are working out, so maybe you are losing fat and replacing it with muscle! =)

  8. You're doing fine....just stick with it.

I had joined www.sparkpeople.com and absolutly loved it....I liked it better than WW (for myself). I was 5 lbs shy of my goal weight when I found out I was pregnant.

    -Lots of water
-3 healthy meals and 2 snacks per day
    -Excercise

....they also have many everyday recipes that are more diet friendly and tons of support from other members and the best part is it's all free....no really it is free. Check it out.

  9. Are you strength training at all? Cardio is good, but its a lot slower than lifting weights. If you make your muscles more dense, it boosts your metabolism!
