Palin Hit It Out of the Park

If you didn’t take the time to watch Governor Sarah Palin deliver her acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention, you missed out on something great.   After this speech, the Democrats are in trouble.  Palin delivered an exceptional speech.  She has poise, class, style, confidence, a good message… she is “every woman.”  Her family is just like any other family in the country and is facing the same problems that families face every day.  She is one of us.

I loved the way she put the media in their place – she said that she isn’t going to Washington to seek the good opinion of the media but rather to serve the American people.  Amen.

I am proud to support Governor Sarah Palin as the next Vice President of the United States.  She isn’t a politician.  She is a mother.  A maverick.  A reformer.  A woman I can stand behind.

Quotes of the night:

I am not a Republican because I grew up rich. I'm a Republican because I didn't want to spend the rest of my life poor, waiting for the government to rescue me!" Mike Huckabee

"I've learned quickly, these past few days, that if you're not a member in good standing of the Washington elite, then some in the media consider a candidate unqualified for that reason alone. But here's a little news flash for all those reporters and commentators: I'm not going to Washington to seek their good opinion - I'm going to Washington to serve the people of this country." Sarah Palin

"There is only one man in this election who has ever really fought for you ... in places where winning means survival and defeat means death." Sarah Palin

At the end of the speech, John McCain walked on stage: "Don't you think we made the right choice for the next Vice President of the United States."

Yes we do Senator McCain. Yes we do.
