Country Weddings and Christmas Cards

Hey all --
As you may remember, I was out of town all weekend in Abilene, Texas with my best friend and our Mom's shopping for wedding dresses!  Liz is getting married in August and I am so honored to be her Matron of Honor!  So this past weekend she got a lot done - found her dress, picked out a bridesmaid dress, and chose the tuxes for the guys!  She also asked me to help her create a wedding webpage for her country themed wedding.  It isn't completed yet, but you can go check it out at www.paulandliz2009.com.  This is the fourth wedding page I have designed and I love doing it.  Although, what I love even more is digital scrapbooking and creating save the dates, Christmas Cards, custom calendars, etc. for my friends.  If only I could come up with a way to make any money at all doing cards for people. But - they take hours and hours to do well and people won't pay very much for them.  So I'll just keep on doing them for my friends free!

I have gone all out for our Christmas cards since we've been married and done a photo card on the front with a poem and additional photos on the inside.  Here is what I've done in the past. I started working on our 2008 card today and I am really excited about it!  You should all be on the edge of your seats.  Thanksgiving weekend when we mail our Christmas cards I'll post the final product here.  The initial work -- oh baby it's good!

  2. So cute! At least you have a hobby that you really enjoy... even if you can't make money off of it.
